Lessons from sports.
For the rest of our lives.
Sports gave many of us our first real structure.
Discipline. Accountability. Clear goals.
Once the uniform comes off for the last time, that structure disappears.
Life becomes something we have to build intentionally for ourselves, without the built-in framework that sports provided.
Over time, I started noticing the same themes again and again. I think of them as the nine innings of the Curveball Life:
Failure. Criticism. Identity. Pressure. Teammates. Leadership. Courage. Ownership. The Long Game.
