About Me
Tony Coyne is a former Yale baseball captain and professional ballplayer whose journey has moved from the dugout to the boardroom to the often messy space in between. After his collegiate career, he spent four years chasing the dream of Major League Baseball, competing in the Mets organization and in independent ball before eventually stepping away from the game.

What followed was anything but linear. Over the next two decades, Tony built a career in business development, working in education, franchise ownership, and the emerging proptech space. Most recently, he helped expand access control and smart technology adoption across the multifamily industry. Along the way, he has also been a coach, a mentor, a husband, and a father. Those roles have shaped his perspective far more than any job title or stat line ever could.

Now based in Northeast Florida with his wife and two children, Tony is the author of The Curveball Life — a book about growing up, staying grounded, and helping families navigate the pressures of modern youth sports. His writing focuses on honest storytelling and practical takeaways for athletes, parents, and anyone moving through life’s unpredictable innings.

In recent years, Tony has also been on a very personal faith exploration. Sparked by questions from his kids and a desire to understand the Bible with fresh eyes, he began reading, studying, and trying to make sense of Scripture in simple, real-world terms. That journey led to his newest project, where he works to translate the big ideas of the Bible into everyday language for families who are curious, searching, or just trying to understand what they believe.
